Preparing for war
“The psychopaths currently in power want to plunge their populations into disaster”

(21 March 2025) On 11 March, I read about war preparations in my local newspaper over breakfast and I almost choke on my food. “We are a hub for NATO”, it says. “In the event of defence, Lower Saxony would be a centre for the logistics of the Bundeswehr”, and with the “Germany Operation Plan”, the country is preparing for a “possible military conflict”.1

I then read that Lower Saxony plays a special role in the deployment of national and international armed forces due to its geographical location. Important motorways have to be taken into account, as do the military and civilian airports in the Hannover, Bremen and Hamburg area. “Convoy support centres” are needed along the route, i.e. places for resting breaks, food and fuel for vehicles. In an emergency, the military use of hospitals, rail connections and motorways would take priority. It would still need to be determined whether the transport routes would need to be expanded (in which case, part of the 500 billion euros earmarked for structural measures would probably be used).
Furthermore, it is said that defence is a national task that concerns everyone. It requires “a willingness to make sacrifices and a financial feat that will cost a lot of taxpayers’ money”. Society must agree on this, and everyone can contribute “by raising awareness among others in their environment as ambassadors”.
Russia wanted peace
As I read all this, I once again wondered whether we are now experiencing real madness. Could Russia really intend to attack Germany and Western Europe? And what sense would that make? What could Russia want in Western Europe? There are neither raw materials nor strategic advantages. But what does the Western alliance want? For a long time now, it has been about ruining Russia first and then taking it over economically and strategically.
Now, as can be heard from the German warmongers, Russia is to be defeated, and Great Britain and the Grand Nation are currently competing for the leading role in Europe, as long as Friedrich Merz, is not yet capable of governing. But Russia cannot be defeated. That is not possible at all because Russia is a nuclear power. If its very existence were at stake, it would use nuclear weapons. And that would be the end of the present civilisation.
Russia wanted peace and quiet to continue building the country, as President Vladimir Putin explained in his memorable speech in the German Bundestag as early as 2001. Just as Gorbachev’s vision of a “common European house”, Putin’s offer of cooperation and an economic area from Vladivostok to Lisbon was prevented by the United States. Even later, up to the present, Putin has repeatedly stated that Russia would defend itself, but would not attack anyone.
In an interview with the US channel CBS, which has since been deleted from YouTube, Putin said on 29 September 2015: “We are not obsessed with Russia having to be a superpower.” And at the end of March 2024, Vladimir Putin once again clearly rejected speculation that Russia wanted to attack European countries. This was “complete nonsense”, they “are scaring their people of a possible Russian threat, while they themselves are spreading their dictate around the world.” The population is being frightened “to get money out of them” and to conceal their own poor economy.2
In his interview with US journalist Tucker Carlson, Putin also emphasised: “We are not going to attack anyone.” And regarding the invasion of Ukraine, he stated: “When did the developments in Ukraine begin? Since the coup and the beginning of hostilities in Donbass, that’s when they started. And we are protecting our people, ourselves, our homeland and our future.”3
Trump wants raprochement, the EU wants war
These statements are not being heard because they do not fit into the war preparations. It is curious and tragic at the same time that the states of the European Union are now seeking to continue on their own the policy of aggression and sanctions that was imposed on them by the US administrations under Obama and Biden,4 now that President Donald Trump wants to come to a rapprochement with Russia.
If the bill of the CDU/CSU and the SPD for the astronomical sum of almost one trillion euros for rearmament and renewal of the infrastructure is passed by the Bundestag, the German population will face not only an acute danger of war but also enormous financial hardship. It seems that the psychopaths who currently govern really do want to plunge their populations into disaster. It is to be hoped that the people who have been lied to and deceived will come to their senses in time.
